It is the vision of the Hospitality Ministry to enhance the worship experience of members, visitors, guests and regular attendees of Blantyre Baptist Church by providing a warm, loving, welcoming, comfortable and caring environment. We’re the face of the church to our esteemed guests, making the first impression and breaking down the barriers of intimidation.

• To welcome everyone who comes to church and help them encounter the love of God
• To recognize visitors and make them feel significant and special
• To collect visitors’ contact information and implement systems for contact after the first visit
• To host a reception for guests after the Sunday Services
• To work with pastoral team to develop a follow up gathering for new members
• To organize catering services for special events
• To plan and manage functions
• To facilitate foreigners welcome in Malawian homes
• To arrange for gifts for Pastor appreciation days and Christmas
• To Facilitate social fellowship among church members through various church events
